Project 4: Self-Titled

This week, we were tasked with establishing a clearer design direction for our project. The goal was to move from concept to visual execution by starting with a sketch and developing it into a digital poster.

Sketch Development

For my sketch, I focused on translating my core concept into a rough visual layout. I began by identifying the key elements I wanted to include. The sketch helped me experiment with placement, balance, and flow before committing to a digital format. Though it was rough, it served as an important step in visualizing the overall structure and mood of the final piece.

4.0 FEEDBACK

Mr Fauzi suggested that I may proceed with my work as we've already done our project 2.

5.0 REFLECTION

Creating the initial sketch was a valuable step in shaping the direction of my design. It allowed me to visually map out my ideas and see how the different elements could come together in a cohesive layout. Through sketching, I could test out composition, balance, and visual hierarchy without worrying too much about perfection. It gave me room to explore possibilities and refine my thoughts before moving into digital execution. The process also helped me clarify which parts of the concept were strong and which needed more work. Overall, it served as a foundation for the final poster and made the design process feel more intentional and structured.
