REFLECTION

For the first part of the exercise, I came across an image of an angel on Pinterest that really moved me.
The process was far from easy. I had to learn how to control blending modes and color layers with more precision than I was used to. Things didn’t always turn out the way I imagined, and there were moments when I felt frustrated with small mistakes or areas that just wouldn’t blend properly. But I kept going. I turned to online tutorials, took breaks when needed, and allowed myself to experiment without rushing.

At the beginning of the second project, I honestly wasn’t too sure what direction to take. I was tempted to explore something more abstract or playful, but when I found out that at least half of the images needed to be my own photos. Looking back, this project taught me more than just technical skills. It taught me how to slow down, be intentional, and trust my instincts. I learned how personal storytelling can live within design, and how powerful it can feel when the work connects back to your own experiences.
